OUR STORY

Purpose

Founded in 2019, CX Insider is a leading podcast for capturing conversations with industry experts, primarily across the banking, retail, automotive and technology sectors.

Our aim is to create an online community of creative thinkers, who can learn from the best and become even better in their own CX strategies. We achieve this by providing a space in which top professionals share their knowledge, insights, formulas and predictions – helping to deepen our audience’s understanding of the customer experience world.

Our podcast focuses on providing a more fun, less corporate approach to business, with a plethora of the hottest CX subjects being covered in our episodes. These include consumer psychology, sustainability, employee experience and the metaverse among many others. Our guests hail from some of the globe’s biggest brands, such as Volvo, Selfridges, Santander, Hotel Chocolat, and Toyota.

History

But CX Insider came from humble beginnings. Just a few colleagues discussing customer experience topics in our own office at ACF Technologies. But as the first wave of the COVID-19 lockdowns hit, we adapted to the remote life and saw an opportunity to take the podcast to the next level. We began hosting guests online from various industries, sharing their own CX stories, and soon enough, Valentina joined the team to become our longest-running host.

Dozens of audio episodes later, we took another leap forward and shot the first video episode in our London studio, with Monzo’s very own Head of Writing and CX, Harry Ashbridge. This move to video production heralded a new era for the podcast, allowing us to create an array of high-quality, valuable content for each episode, and expand our audience even further on YouTube.

We now publish bi-weekly video podcasts, including our virtual conversations too. This ensures that each guest has an equal platform to share their voice and be heard by a dedicated group of professionals, whilst also opening our discussions across international borders.

Speaking of which, CX Insider has now been heard in over 45 countries on Spotify, having created more minutes of content in 2022 than 85% of others in the business category at 613, and we’ve also cracked the top 15% both most followed and shared global podcasts, respectively.
